Monday, 8 March 2010

Assalamualaikum and Salam sejahtera to all...

Hello everyone… then, that day I got up with cheesecake in my head, so, I went to a cake shop and steal this cheesecake from them… hahaha… I hope u enjoy…

Oreo Chocolate Cheese Cake…

Ingredients:

680gm Philadelphia cheese (cut chunk)
3 packets oreo biscuit
½ cup butter (oh yes its melted)
1 cup sugar
6 nos egg
8 tbsp all purpose flour
3 tsp vanilla essence
200 gm cooking chocolate

Method:

1. Heat up oven at 180’C (356’F).
2. Then, crush oreo to crumb and place in mould (I used a disposable aluminum container) and pour butter all over and bake in oven for 10 minute. Cool it down.
3. Melt chocolate in a bowl on a boiling water.
4. In a mixer bowl, mix cheese until soft. Add sugar and chocolate and let it mix.
5. Beat egg in a different bowl and add in the cheese mix.
6. Add in vanilla essence.
7. Once batter mixed evenly, pour on oreo crumb and spread, flattened using spatula.
8. Bake in the oven for about 40 minute at 180’C.

Or you can follow method by looking at pics in below…

So, I let my sister to taste the cake… hmmm, she said I should remove the
cream filling from oreo and the texture is moist… compliment? I guess… ;)

I used to love oreo so much… how about you?

Ohhh… I just love chocolate… can I eat this already?

Tips: let the cheese out from the fridge at least half hour
before use, it’ll help…

Before egg...

After egg...

Nice mixture uhh... spread them dong...

“Hey… oven! open your door, I m coming in…”

After 40 minutes or so, use bamboo skewer to check cake… cooked!!!

So, this is the only problem I got, the base was breaking…

Half gone in my tummy…

So… are you going to try this or not??

P/s: I don’t remember where I got the recipe from but hell I didn’t copy it… ingredients were measured and yes… I call this almost perfect because it is not perfect but I think it will… so, good luck!!!

Regards, Chef Nash…

HI Chef, thanks for stopping by earlier! I knew that you're a very busy chef. And it's not easy at all! Always on the run... trying to get creative and come up with something stunning for your customers. hehe... Btw, this cheesecake sounds scrumptious to me! Any more left?
p/s where did you usually make your baking at? Hotel or at home?

All those cream cheese is going to cost me! If I am going to bake a cheesecake, this shall be it but I'll cut the portion by half or even less. Thanks for visiting:D
